Breakfast Apple Cake

I still have apples... I had these high hopes of doing one last canning hoorah... but alas, it didn't happen.  I made an apple cake so we'd have breakfast all done in the morning. It came out really yummy and was perfect warmed up with a glass of milk!

Breakfast Apple Cake

1/2 c. milk
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. diced apples (1 lg apple)

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a square baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle batter with cinnamon & sugar. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in comes out clean.

Hi Angie, This is the coolest and cutest place to visit. I wandered over here via CC from Texas who took me to her cooking blog, Sue's Kitchen and from there came here. Ain't life grand. You've got some funny and cute kids. Merry Christmas, Mollye

And the brie, what's not to love! It is a fantastic treat.
