Apple-Pear Raspberry Jam

This jam is wonderful. The kids love it and it's a fantastic red color.  It's great for when you just have a few of each fruit to use up.

Apple-Pear Raspberry Jam

6 pears
6 apples
2 TBSP lemon juice
3 c. sugar
6 oz raspberry jello powder

Core, peel and chop fruit. Place lemon juice into a large pot and add your fruit chunks as you go, tossing occasionally. Place covered pot on stove over med-high heat. Cook covered for 5 minutes stirring often. Remove lid, add sugar and boil for 15 minutes, stirring often. Mix cooked fruit in a blender until mostly smooth. Add jello powder; cook and stir for a few minutes until dissolved. Place in sterilized half-pint or jelly jars and process for 15 minutes. Makes 6 half-pints or 12 jelly jars.

Wow, you've been busy. Looks wonderful. I bet you won't have to buy jam all year now!
