Oh My Gosh These Rolls Were Good!!!

I wanted to make some sort of cinnamon rolls for breakfast, so I started researching what I could do with frozen roll dough. I almost always have Rhodes dough in my freezer. I came across an idea that I thought I would adapt and WOW so tasty! I fell in love and these will definitely be finding their way onto my menu on a regular basis!

Breakfast Rolls

1/2 c. brown sugar
3 T butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 c. milk (I use skim)
9 frozen roll doughs

In a glass measuring cup, melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the brown sugar and vanilla. Spread into a 9" square pan sprayed with cooking spray. Top with the frozen roll dough. Measure the milk into the same measuring cup. Stir it up to pick up the sugar/butter bits left in the cup. Pour over the frozen dough. Spray a piece of plastic wrap with cooking spray and cover the rolls with it. Let rise in a cool place overnight. Mine rose for about 8 hours. In the morning, uncover and bake at 350 for 20ish minutes. These were sooo good!

It was really snowy and yucky today (is it not April?), so these rolls were the perfect breakfast with hot chocolate, cheesy scrambled eggs and blackberries.

Aren't these cups fun? I got them at a thrift store years ago.

Mmmmm... the perfect snowy day breakfast!

Monkey Bread! We break the rolls into smaller rolls and stick them into the ban. Then you can pull them apart when they are done.
