Halloween in April Chili Mac Recipe

Yes... we really did have a Halloween dinner in April... It was my daughter Nina's idea and all the kids thought it was a great one!

Chili Mac

1 box mac & cheese, prepared
1 can chili
1/2 c. salsa
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. shredded cheese (or more)

Mix all together and heat until warm. Simple, inexpensive and yummy!

I say go with the inspiration! NCIS was a Halloween episode too this week even though it was a new episode. Sorry...that was random!

I wonder if your daughter got the idea from the Disney channel's "Halloween in April" week segment. How fun!

LOL!! Way to go! Sounds very fun, and makes ya wonder what you can do in July when it is scorching hot!! Maybe that would be a great time to have a snowfest!(snowcones, and anything frozen!)

Anyway, what a great tablescape and idea for a simply family night in the fall! Thanks for the idea.

Isn't it fun to be a kid again with such a fun theme? I could celebrate Halloween every day. Your kids had a great idea to do this in April. Did you dress up too?
