I love bright vintage tablescapes!
BBQ Beans
1/2 pkg real bacon bits
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can pinto beans, drained
1 can pork and beans
2 T brown sugar
2 T sugar
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 c ketchup
Simmer in a saucepan until hot and bubbly.
This is a super inexpensive and neato dinner! Round it out with canned peaches, corn bread and chocolate milk made with my own homemade chocolate syrup and this entire meal for a family of four (with enough leftover for one more) costs less than $5!

How clever are you, with that "vintage" black and white "50's" photo, followed by the color shot! This tablescape is loaded with yummy-looking pretties, and tht BBQ Bean recipe looks really good, too. I plan to give it a try.
