I love making old fashioned dolls. This pioneer doll is one of my favorites. She was pretty easy to make. I just used a basic doll pattern and made the whole thing out of an off-white fabric. I didn't finish the edges of the clothing. The bonnet pattern I made up. After making many people-sized bonnets, I figured it wouldn't be too tough to make a doll-sized one. After she was finished, I tea-dyed the whole thing.
