Pink Easter

My daughter Alyssa made these adorable cupcakes at Activity Days.

And little pink chicks have made their home on the back of my stove. Aren't they sweet?

I found these pink nut cups at the grocery store and debated whether or not to buy them, because they were .99 for only eight, but when I took them up to the checkstand, the price was only .24!

I added a bit of vinegar and blue food coloring to the cold egg water and the eggs colored as they cooled. What a time saver!

We had 7up and sherbet floats last night to celebrate Nina's job well done for the play she's in right now. She put in a lot of hard work and did a great job!

Happy Easter weekend!

I luv the bright colors.U make things so pretty.
It's away of life for me to comb thrift stores, sales etc. We're on a very limited income right now. I be lost w/o Dollar Stores, thrift stores. D.I & Savers when we lived in Utah is where I would comb the racks for clothing find. The one in Murray got stuff from an expensive dept. store that I got big finds on I could never afford.
Elder Hales spoke of Provident Living in his talk last Sat. I'm pulling things out of stashing spots etc. since HP cut salaries 15% for April. I'm trying to think o/side of the box for meals & my card projects etc.

Ahh, Angie, everything looks delightful!! That's the perfect word b/c your colors are so joyful and the spirit behind them is just so lovely. :o)

Can I come visit and have floats, too? I'll bring sherbet, I promise! Or 7-up. That might weather the plane ride better, LOL.

Have a blessed Easter, mama!

I've been on a blogging break a medical hiatus. So now...I'm catching up, by enjoying a stroll through the posts I've missed. Luckily I bookmarked you in my favs.
Oh my, you and I have been on the same creative wave. I love playing with food. As you'll see (on my blog) the best part is gifting the confections that brought so much fun in the creative process. My son likes peanut butter cups, so the eggs will be a great treat for him!

Come by for a visit, the company would be nice.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
