More Vintage Cookbooks and Pink Foods

I grab these bake-off winners cookbooks whenever I see them. I have several of them, dating pretty early on in the competition. I just picked these three up the other day and was pleasantly surprised at a couple of lovely pink pictures.

This pie looks yummy!

But a pink Oriental Shrimp Sandwich Roll? I'm frightened... LOL

And check out this page... I LOVE it! If I had a pink kitchen I'd frame it!

Isn't pink fabulous?

What pretty pink pie! I believe I'll have a slice of that... or maybe two.

Happy Pink Saturday!

I love vintage cookbooks! I'm allergic to wheat, so I can't use many of them, but I have a fun collection.

I really like the old Jello ones, though they also have the offensive recipes like "ring around the tuna."

No, really,

Crockpot cake! I had never heard of that before- I think I must try it!

Thanks for coming over to my blog and saying hi! You will have to let me know how you like the laundry soap-

I read you blog on the temple you visited and you asked for questions so here goes. I guess I am not sure why would a temple being restored make it possible for you to live forever with your children.

As one who loves Jesus- I believe it is because of the the precious gift of life that He gives to those who choose that gift, by His death on the Cross that gives us eternal life. (John 17:3) There is no amount of good works that I can do to earn His free gift of Life- right now and eternally- it's free- and now that I have this relationship I do desire that my life conforms to His likeness more and more- and by His Spirit it is happening as I allow Him to work.

Oh geez didn't mean to write a book!

Aren't you glad God loves us so and continues to make His ways known to us as our hearts are open to the truth.

Blessings!
