Bird's Nest Cloche

I've had this glass cheese dome/cloche for a while.  The bottom part used to be silver, but a little spray paint fixed that and the bird's nest was a clearance find!  They come together nicely.

Hi There, Thanks for sharing your thrift store finds with us. Your 7-year-old son is so precious. I have one myself- and he is a gem. He has even guest-posted on my blog: http://vintagesquirrel.blogspot.com/2009/01/special-guest-post.html

Happy winter!

YOu made some great finds! I love that a little bit of paint can change the whole look of something so easily.
Your son is such a cutie and your girls are too! I have to talk til I"m blue in the face to get my kids to clean their room...I guess I'm still not the right shade of blue because the rooms are still a mess.
Enjoy your day!

That's so funny your children want to "vintage" their rooms too! That vintage bug is pretty infectious! What cute kids and I would have never thought to used the cheese dome as a cloche. Thanks for the idea!
Blessings

Your nest under the cloche is so pretty!

I'm training my kiddos to love antiques, too, they love to go *junking* with me.

You are way to cute and those chillins are just as cute. I came to you thru my sis Hazelruthe check her out then thru Kelly. My daughter who is almost 24 now grow up with antiques, well so did I but my mom took her and she had certain things to look for to keep her busy. Fiesta ware is good. It is easy to spot and colorful. We always laught about what she was to look for. She is in Korea now. Army Wife! But I still go with my mom! She loved all her tiquing trips with Grams. It builds character and apreciation! Keep up the good work girl You are Owesome!!

Starting out the New Year with excitement!

I love your bird's nest! I love old things too, As for your girls' messy room....Iet's just say I had to share a room with a messy Sis and I was a neat freak. *loL* Since I've gotten married and moved out I'll sometimes go over there when she's not home and clean her room just for the fun of it. She'll tease me and say, "What did you do, this is a mess and I can't find a thing!?". *lol* Thanks for sharing your finds.
