Halloween Party

Halloween parties are so much fun!  This was an employee party for the Covey Center for the Arts.  It was a blast!

Here are a few pics:

I found these wishbones in 10 packs at the dollar store. Plus it was .88 day, so they weren't even a whole dollar.

Misfortunes are so much fun... they always get a laugh. I did a lot of online research and compiled my favorites. I don't do the really mean ones. I don't want someones fortune to say they'll get hit by a bus or something... what if it really happened? I'd feel terrible.

Apothecary jars are perfect for Halloween candies!

I hadn't made these Snickers spiders in years, but I thought they'd look cute on a dessert table. They're really simple and cute.

Here I am with a glowing head :)

I love these guys... I have four different ones from the DollarTree.

Alyssa and Caleb posing.

My glitter spiders under a dome.

For dinner we served two kinds of chili, nachos ($8 a HUGE can of cheese at Walmart), salad and drinks.

The fun drink labels came from the DollarTree. I wrote what the drink actually was on the label in the bottom corner.

I love vintage Halloween cats. These plates and cups were only $2 for a 30 pack at Walmart and they're a good sturdy brand.

This is the Bingo prize table... there were lots of random prizes.

The kids being silly.

The dessert table... yum yum!

This is a big can of chocolate pudding ($3.50 at Walmart) layered with oreos and cool whip. It was so delicious and looked super cute decked out as a graveyard.

Here I am being attacked by my children.

Besides eating and Bingo, we also watched Garfield's Halloween and The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown movie projected on a screen. Those that didn't want to watch the movies played Crack the Case which is a really fun mystery game. I think the party was a hit!!!
Happy Halloween!!!
