This week I'll be posting a canning recipe each day :)
I'm blessed to live next to an apple orchard and last week they let me know they're done harvesting apples and I could have what I wanted. WOW! The trees are loaded. I think I'll be squeezing in canning whenever I can over the next little while. Two hours here and two hours there is not the best way to go about canning since that means my kitchen is a permanent disaster, but you gotta do whatcha gotta do :)
The grocery store also had pears for .25/lb! So, be prepared for some FANTASTIC pear and apple canning recipes!
Also I'm going to be doing a lot of freezer meals and freezer baking this month... think apple cake, apple bread, apple muffins LOL
